What to expect?
If you reach out to me through this website or my Psychology Today profile, I will email or text you to organise a session or schedule an introductory phone call.
The introductory phone call is a free, 15-minute conversation where you can share a bit about what you're going through and what you're looking for in a therapist. I’ll also explain how I work, my availability, fees, and, if it feels like a good fit for both of us, we can arrange a time for your first session.
Before your first session, I’ll send you a short intake form (if we haven’t already covered it during the call), along with my cancellation policy and confidentiality statement for your consent.
Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the date, time, and location of your session.
In our first session, I’ll introduce you to the space and give you the option of either answering a few questions so I can get to know you better or starting with whatever feels important to you that day. This session will help us begin to build rapport and create a sense of safety.
